★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 掛川城の人に聞いたらどこそれという反応をされたし、車を止めたら寺の人なのか来客なのか知らないけど嫌な対応もされたし城自体もしょぼい
こんな城じゃ半年も篭城出来ないはず
 When I asked the people at Kakegawa Castle, they responded to that, and when I stopped my car I did not know whether it was a temple person or a visitor, but I had a bad response and the castle itself was poor
A castle like this cannot be caged for half a year

I only saw the autumn leaves at the entrance, but the autumn leaves were beautiful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 城跡碑はありませんでした。高台なので見晴らしは良かったです。説明板のみありました。東側に残っている大堀切は見所です。
There was no castle ruins. The view was good because it was on a hill. There was only an explanation board. Oborikiri remains on the east side is a highlight.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 人が集まる明るい現在の城に対してGWでも人の影がほぼない古城、静かな雰囲気を楽しむことができる。
但しわかりやすい表示も石碑もないので少し残念。
You can enjoy an old castle with almost no shadow of people and a quiet atmosphere even in the GW against the bright present castle where people gather.
However, it is a bit disappointing because there is no easy-to-understand display or monument.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ なんかものすごい「学校の裏山」感があるが、立派な堀切がしっかり保存されているため 見る人が見れば一発で城跡だと分かるようになっている。
公園からの眺めも良いし、周囲の感じもよいので時間に余裕があるなら立ち寄るのもいいだろう。
It feels like a great "back mountain of the school", but because the magnificent Horikiri is well preserved, the viewer can see it as a castle ruin in one shot.
The view from the park is good and the surroundings feel good, so if you have time, you may want to stop by.
