近くの集落の神社がもとは国府の鎮守様とか。
出羽国国府でしたが、津波か洪水で流されたらしく、次は山の上に作られました。温泉施設ゆりんこの上になります。

It was Dewa Kokufu, but it seems that it was washed away by the tsunami or flood, and next it was built on the mountain. The hot spring facility Yurin is on top of this.

天気の良い日に行くと、門の迫力を感じます。
敷地内にトイレもあります。
It is a national reserved seat historical site in the Honjo Elementary School area.
When the weather is fine, you can feel the power of the gate.
There is also a toilet on the premises.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 宮城の多賀城柵や岩手の紫波城柵などに比べ、規模が小さい感じですが、古代城柵としてもう少し有名になっても良いと思います。
復元された門も優雅で趣がありますが、観光として訪れるのは少々寂しいかも知れない。
管理が大変でしょうけど未来に向けて維持して欲しい。
It's smaller than Miyagi's Tagajo fence and Iwate's Shiwa castle fence, but I think it's okay to become a little more famous as an ancient castle fence.
The restored gate is also elegant and quaint, but it may be a bit lonely to visit for sightseeing.

わかりやすいかと。車も止められます。すごーく古い歴史の遺構なので城跡なんかとは違って見映えがあるわけではありませんが、その当時の地理を学ぶ機会にはなります。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2021年8月12日に見学しました。7世紀末から8世紀前半頃に建設された朝廷官衙だと考えられています。708年に造られた出羽柵ではないかという説もありますが、未だに判明していません。したがって、国府跡ということも断定できません。秋田城に国府が移されるまで、出羽国内では、このきのわ柵が最前線だったことになります。
We visited on August 12, 2021. It is believed to be a court official built around the end of the 7th century and the first half of the 8th century. There is a theory that it may be a Dewa fence built in 708, but it is still unknown. Therefore, it cannot be concluded that it is the site of Kokufu. Until the Kokufu was moved to Akita Castle, this Kyowa fence was at the forefront in Dewa.
