★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ダム周辺はまだ工事中の為、周遊できないです? 途中までなら歩けます。さらにトイレがありません? 景色も良くてサイクリングやウォーキングには最適なので周遊コースが完成するのを心待ちにしてます。

かなりの大きさに ビックリ?☀️ 山越えする位の登り道 を 下ってダムに到着！ 展望台あり。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 香川県高松市南部、塩江町に建設された治水、利水ダム。香東川水系上流部の椛川に建設された。香川県最大規模だという。
近くの温泉施設を利用のがてら、以前のダム湖底となる地域と、ダム建設が進む様子を見てきたため、完成されたダム湖の風景をみるのは感慨深く、既存ダムを巡るのとは違う想いがこみ上げる。
A hydraulic and water-use dam constructed in Shionoe-cho, in the southern part of Takamatsu City, Kagawa Prefecture. It was built in the Kabagawa River in the upper reaches of the Koto River system. It is said to be the largest in Kagawa prefecture.
Since I have seen the area that became the bottom of the former dam lake and the progress of dam construction while using the nearby hot spring facility, it is deeply emotional to see the scenery of the completed dam lake, which is different from visiting the existing dam. Feelings rise.

ダム周囲の道は未完。
⭕これから香川県の水事情にどれだけ貢献できるか。
○県民の殆どがまだ存在を知らない。莫大な建設費が一級の資格を持つ関係者に渡った。
ダムの上にはポツンと一軒家がある。
ダムより下の地域には広場を建設するという。
樺川（カバガワ）=椛川（カバガワ）
という名前の由来は、
樺の木の葉や実が、川に落ちて流れるとき、その匂いが周辺地域に香り立ち、当時はそれを季節の変わり目として受け入れていた事にあるという。

60年前までは樺の木はあったらしい。

○ Most of the citizens of the prefecture do not know their existence yet. Huge construction costs went to first-class qualified officials.
Above the dam is Potsun and a house.
It is said that a plaza will be built in the area below the dam.
Kabagawa = Kabagawa
The origin of the name is
When the leaves and fruits of the birch tree fall into the river and flow, the scent scents in the surrounding area, and at that time it was accepted as a turning point of the season.
(Koto River and Kagawa incense also from here)
It seems that there was a birch tree until 60 years ago.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 夕方にドライブがてら訪れました。車が1台も通ってなく、静かな黄昏時をすごしました。ダムには水が張っていて、眺めは最高ですが、あまりの高さに、腰が抜けそうになりました。
I visited there for a drive in the evening. I had a quiet twilight time with no cars passing by. The dam was filled with water and the view was great, but the height was so high that I was about to lose my hips.
