I've redeemed at other station such as Shinjuku in a quarter of the time. Ended up missing my shinkansen twice over. Go to Ueno or Shinjuku for prompt service.

However, when I came, there was an English/French speaking man who was assisting people in line asking what they needed and he was condescending. He was also not polite at all, he made me feel like I owe him for him doing his job. Aside from that, experience was pleasant.

She even followed us to the Shinkansen platform just to return the change she had forgotten to give us earlier. That's a few minutes away before the train departure. We could notice her panting--a proof of her willingness to return the change. Just imagine her running inside the crowded, huge Tokyo Station.
