久しぶりの訪問、開店前から並び12番目でしたが一時間半待ちました。でも、また食べたい特別なとんかつです。親父さんたちがコロナでお店を閉めなくて良かった。
It's been a long time since I visited the store, and it was the 12th in line since before the store opened, but I waited for an hour and a half. But it's a special pork cutlet that I want to eat again. I'm glad my dads didn't close the shop in Corona.

1年ぶりの来店。 11時に並んで入店したのは12時に過ぎ。待っている間も良い匂いがするのでお腹が空く空く。 上ロースカツ定食は衣がサクサクで絶品です。たっぷりの漬物やなめこの味噌汁も美味しい! 気さくな御年配夫婦のあたたかいお店です。また行きます!
Visited the store for the first time in a year. It was past 12 o'clock when I entered the store side by side at 11 o'clock. It smells good while I'm waiting, so I'm hungry. The upper loin cutlet set meal is crispy and exquisite. Plenty of pickles and nameko mushroom miso soup are also delicious! It is a warm shop for a friendly elderly couple. I will go again!

いつもお昼頃に通ると並んでる人がいるのでずっと気になっていました。 Googleで調べてみたら、髙評価のとんかつ屋さん☆ 平日休みになったときに行こうと決めてました! 11時開店とのことだったので、10時45分くらいに行ってみたのですが もうすでに入店してる…?? 1時間程待ってから、1番奥にある座敷に案内していただきました。 雰囲気もよく、お店のご夫婦の接客も愛があって素敵です。 ご飯とキャベツがおかわりできるそうですが、もとからボリューム満点。 おつけもの(きゅうりと大根は味が薄かった;)、なめこの味噌汁もよかったです。

ここは開店前に並ばないと、下手すると1時間以上並ぶ事もあります。 でもコスパも良くて美味しくて並ぶ価値があります。 おじいさん、おばあさんが一生懸命作ってくれるのを見ていると、一粒も残さず食べないといけないなと思います。 引っ越し前に伺ったのですが、Google MAP見ると今はコロナで臨時休業中なのかな? カウンタ席のお店なので仕方ないですね。 私が並んでた時は、前のカップルの前でひと席だけ空いて、そのカップルの方が、お先にどうぞって譲ってくれました。 なんか良いですね。長く並びましたが、気分良く食べて、気分良く帰ることができました。 また来る事があったら、来たいです。 出張でしか来ないし、お昼しかここは開いてないけど?

とっても美味しく並んでも食べたい豚カツ屋さん。ご夫婦の気配りや優しさが大好きです。お漬け物も美味しくて全てが最高のおもてなしです。

開店前からすごい行列!開店30分前には行かないと1ターン目に入れないかも。カツ丼より定食をおすすめします。ビールを頼むと味噌田楽くれるのですがそれがまた美味しい。

11:35到着8組15人待ちです。 やはりすごい人気ですね〜? 何時に案内されるやら・・・ でも油の良い香りがしますよ〜 入れないかとヒヤヒヤしながら待つ事30分12:16女将さんが出てきました! ここで閉店と後から来るお客様へ伝えてもらえますか?との事。 ふぅ〜ギリギリセーフ! 良かった!でも後どれくらい待つのだろう・・・ 13:22最後の客として入店です! 上ロースかつ定食、エビフライ1本をオーダー 13:31お茶が出されました 13:38お新香到着 お新香見てたら、日本酒呑みたくなってしまい、日本酒1本追加オーダー(笑) 味噌田楽付き✨ 狭いカウンター内で仲睦まじく息を合わせ、お客様への配慮をしながら次々と仕事をされる姿は心癒され、待つことに余り苦痛は感じません。 満を持して13:55上ロースかつ定食&海老登場! 先ずはモリモリキャベツ ドレッシングは無いのでソースでいただきます。 細すぎず荒すぎずイイ感じのザクザク感です? 続いて溢れんばかりのなめこと豆腐とネギの味噌汁 ホッとする具沢山味噌汁? さっ!メインのロースカツ カリッと揚がっているであろう衣 先ずは何もつけずにロースを一口 しっかり味のついた衣はカリッとサクッと肉は柔らかくジューシ〜? 次はソースと辛子で 甘いソースがお肉の油と合う〜美味しい✨ 最後に海老フライ タップリのタルタルソースでいただきます。 これまたカリッとサクッとプリっと美味しい✨ 結局お店を後にしたのは14:30 12:30までの営業とする気持ち分かります! 待つけど、お店に入ってからの温かいおもてなしと美味しさが全てを忘れさせてくれる良いお店でした。

Finally! Tonkatsu Katsura's business hours are so short, finding the right time to pay a visit was not easy. I came on a rainy weekday, just before 11am, to no queue, but to the last open seat at the counter. A line had formed outside when I left. The service was like paying a visit to a nice set of grandparents; it was warm, welcoming and attentive, and the food was the same. I'd orderd the ro-su katsu set. The tea, rice and pickles were delicious, especially the yuzu-pickled daikon. The nameko-jiru (nameko miso soup), although I couldn't taste much besides the miso, was good and heartwarming. The cabbage was crispy fresh, but the tonkatsu was a little disappointing. Breaded coating is thickly applied, and it was overfried to the point where I could almost taste bitter notes in it and where the taste of the oil seemed like it overpowered any flavors of the pork. The meat was not dry, but it lacked a "meaty chew" when biting into it. However, I would come back for the service and to try something else on their menu, and I'd come hungrier next time in order to take advantage of their "okawari" servings (seconds) of rice and cabbage. Except for the front door being left ajar and the staff wearing masks, no other COVID-19 preventive are in place. Customers sit side-by-side, closely together at the counter facing the kitchen area in a cramped restaurant setting.
