樹齢は300年を超え、文化財に指定されている。
また、正面に浅間山が見え、ビューポイントの１つにもなっている。浅間山をバックに枝垂桜を撮るのが定番アングル。

その入り口の傍らに『案内看板』を見つけ行ってみます。
こんな山の中に（失礼）集落が在り、大きな『神社』や『寺院』が在ります。
『石碑』の並んだ一角から『成穏寺』境内へ。
折角ですから裏山に登り、浅間山を見てみます。
お～。良いんでないかい。
