★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful coastal lighthouse and suspension bridge. Nice walk around the park with many different photographic opportunities and gorgeous scenery. Parking lot is available for ¥500.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great view of waves crashing against the steep cliffs along the Jogasaki coastline. The cliffs were formed by a large lava flow that reached the ocean from a nearby volcano, Mt. Omuro. The lava flowed (approx. 4,000 years ago) to the sea and cooled when hitting the sea surface creating columnar joints. Some of the volcanic rock near the sea stack has varying shades of dark gray and black columnar joints indicating that the magma flowed directly into the sea and cooled rapidly. Conversely, the red volcanic rock appears to be scoria, which indicates magma with dissolved gas that may have cooled and solidified on the surface of an older lava flow. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was a bit scary to look down from the bridge but the scene was amazing. We came here by car. There was a parking lot nearby. Just took a few minutes to walk from there to the coast.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A pleasant place to visit. A small hike for a wonderful view. Clean and blue water mesmerising to eyes. Usually crowded during weekends and holidays. Might be a bit humid during summer so it’s better to carry drinks to rehydrate yourself. Be careful while clicking pictures on the cliffs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to enjoy the cliffs next to the sea. You can climb the cliff and just stroll around freely but you need to be very careful as you are walking the rocks, sometimes can be very tricky and pointed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really pretty bridge, cliffs, seas views, there are even places rock climbing. But it is mostly trad climbing and you gotta bring your own gear. Just FYI. Great date spot too. ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Breathtakingly beautiful. The coast is super rocky and can get very windy, but the color of the water is just beautiful. Lots to explore and see, including rocky areas that you can climb around on and find hidden rock pools. Be sure to wear proper shoes because it’s very easy to trip over.
