Jindai Botanical Garden is just a stone's throw away from home. I went out after hearing that it was resumed after the state of emergency, but I gave up because I needed to make a reservation in advance. The person in charge recommended this, and I went out for a walk while visiting Jindaiji Temple. Larger than I expected. If it was the season of licorice and irises, you would have been able to meet the sazoya and the wonderful scenery. Only remnants today

? 2 Jindaiji Motomachi, Chofu City ?? Jindaiji. 3 minutes walk from Jindaiji entrance Opening hours 9: 30-16: 30 Closed days ... Monday Admission fee ... Free * It is located in a corner of Jindaiji Castle Ruins Park. A wetland made up of springs is an aquatic botanical garden. You can observe phragmites, ogi, makomo, irises, and other waterside plants. It is said that there are many people in the spring when the irises and in the autumn when the leaves are colored. I think it was when I went to Jindai Botanical Garden, but this time I visited for the first time, there was a wooden path for walking. There is also a hydroponic field in the park where elementary school students have experienced rice planting, and I am looking forward to the autumn harvest. * Part of it is a nationally designated historic site. It is the site of Jindaiji Castle.

It is a botanical park in Jindaiji. It is in good condition. I think it's a good place to take a leisurely stroll through the natural aquatic plants.

As the name implies, this is a botanical garden where mainly aquatic plants such as reeds and irises are planted. Although it's under the management of the Jindai Botanical Park, it's not connected to the park but is located in a remote area (although it is about 5-10 minutes away from the park). Although there are some varieties with colorful flowers, such as Iris in early summer and Red spider lily in autumn, most of the plants are familiar and plain in color. This is a great place for plant lovers and observers, but don't expect to see too many colorful flowers. Especially in winter, there are very few aquatic plants that bloom, which some people may find boring. Even though this botanical garden is free of charge, not many people visit it. There is no space to play with a ball or other objects, only to observe and appreciate the plants as you walk around the garden. There are also ramps for wheelchairs and other disabled visitors to enjoy the garden, but some of the pathways require a detour, which may be somewhat inconvenient.

Since the botanical garden is mainly composed of aquatic plants, the space that people can enter is very limited with a small diameter, and you can only observe and appreciate the plants while going around the garden, and there is no space to play with balls. Slopes are also installed so that people with disabilities such as wheelchairs can enjoy it, but some passages have to be detoured, which may be a little inconvenient.
I had a warm namekoba at a nearby soba restaurant. I could see beautiful autumn leaves from the terrace seats. After a meal, I took a walk and experienced the depth of autumn.

The main botanical garden is more well-known, but this free adjunct is dedicated to native aquatic plants in a geographical feature known as a 'yato' depression between low hills. Irises are beautiful in June but any seasons outside of humid mid-summer and dead of winter have something of interest. Inside the park are also the remains of a castle mound, but no buildings.

It's not packet like nearby Jindaiji Botanical garden because it's not that gorgeous; however it's free and relaxing.

It was a beautiful place for a date or family get together. Nothing but smiling faces and happiness. Problems melted away during these moments
