The single cherry tree in front of the inscription board here has beautiful flowers with beautiful shapes and colors. The best time to see is late March and early April.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 神田川の南岸を 秋葉原から東に進むと、 和泉橋の脇の公園に金属板に書かれた発祥碑が建っています。この地域は江戸時代末期から大正時代まで古着屋(和服)の大マーケットがあったが、庶民の日常生活が洋服化するに伴い今度は洋服の古着が扱われるようになりました。戦後は、岩本町・大伝馬町・小伝馬町・富沢町・久松町などに広がり日本橋繊維問屋街に変貌し、 既製服や洋服生地などが扱われました。
ライフスタイルも洋服が主流となり、とくに戦後には女性の洋服が当たり前となり、当地もアパレルの拠点として名を馳せました。
If you go east from Akihabara on the south bank of the Kanda River, you will find a monument written on a metal plate in the park beside Izumi Bridge. From the end of the Edo period to the Taisho era, there was a large market for used clothing stores (Japanese clothes) in this area, but as the daily life of the common people became clothes, used clothes are now being sold. After the war, it spread to Iwamotocho, Odenmacho, Kodenmacho, Tomizawacho, Hisamatsucho, etc. and transformed into Nihonbashi Textile Wholesaler Street, where ready-made clothes and cloths were handled.
As for lifestyle, clothes became the mainstream, and especially after the war, women's clothes became commonplace, and this area also became famous as a base for apparel.
