ことで登城しました。本郭の竪堀は
圧巻です。城域は手前方面から大きな
地域が含まれるみたいですね。
岩櫃山とセットで登るといいですかな！？

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 駐車場から坂道をハイキング気分で登って行きます。堀跡等が有ります。ここから岩櫃山に登れますので是非登山支度して訪れて下さい。素晴らしい景色が楽しめます?
From the parking lot, climb the slope like a hike. There are moat traces, etc. You can climb Mt. Iwabitsu from here, so be sure to prepare for the climb. Enjoy a wonderful view ?

武田勝頼が織田信長軍の侵攻を受けた時、２つの避難ルートがあったそうだが、こちらの城に落ち延びていれば、もしかしたら永らえる事ができたかも知れない。(勝頼は部下に裏切られ天目山で自刃)
遠くから山を見ると、なるほどすごい要害だ。
駐車場から山道を登り、15分ちょっとで本丸跡に到着。
樹木に囲まれ、展望があまり良くないのが残念です。
他の山城は登ってきたご褒美に、展望と気持ちいい風があるものだが…。
城好きの方はどうぞ。

Looking at the mountains from a distance, it's a terrible bastion.
Climb the mountain road from the parking lot and arrive at the Honmaru ruins in just over 15 minutes.
It is a pity that the view is not so good because it is surrounded by trees.
Other mountain castles have a view and a pleasant breeze as a reward for climbing ...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 20220408群馬旅行の途中て立ち寄りました。登山口から15分ほどね本丸跡に着きます。草をはらってあり、竪堀、横堀、廓跡がよくわかります。廃城になってから400ねんも経つのに当時の山城が目に浮かびます。
20220408 I stopped by during my trip to Gunma. About 15 minutes from the trailhead, you will reach the Honmaru ruins. It is covered with grass, and you can clearly see the vertical moat, horizontal moat, and ruins. It's been 400 years since the castle was abandoned, but the mountain castle at that time comes to my mind.

なかなか大きな城域を誇る。私が行く城跡にはほぼ誰とも会うことがないが、朝6時過ぎに訪れたにも関わらず、さすがにこの岩櫃城は3組ほどの城攻め客がいた。遺構自体はそれほどメリハリのあるものではないが、真田家のことを考えて歩くことに意義がある。

It boasts a fairly large castle area. I rarely meet anyone at the ruins of the castle I go to, but despite visiting after 6 am, Iwabitsu Castle had about three groups of siege guests. The remains themselves are not so sharp, but it is meaningful to think about the Sanada family and walk.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 群馬県東吾妻町にある国指定史跡に指定される大規模な山城跡。真田氏の居城として有名であの真田信繁も幼少期はこの城で過ごしたとされています。
個性的な岩峰である岩櫃山山麓を大規模に城郭化しており、非常に堅固な城であることが現地に行くとよくわかります。とくに二の丸から本丸にかけての縄張りは折れを伴う横堀と竪堀の組み合わせで容易に本丸に近づけさせない作りになっており見応え抜群です。
駐車場はとても広く、登城口には観光案内所もあり見学しやすい城ですね。ただ熊が出たとのことで注意が必要です。私も山歩きをしていたところ、何となく獣の気配がして肝を冷やしました。ただの気のせいだったのだろうか。。

The parking lot is very large, and there is a tourist information center at the entrance to the castle, making it easy to visit. However, it is necessary to be careful because a bear has appeared. When I was walking in the mountains, I felt a beast and my liver was chilled. Was it just a matter of mind? ..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 曲輪や堀切などが見られるが、それに関する説明や立て札はあまり見られない。岩櫃山平沢登山口からはその名の通り登山で、尾根通りと沢通りに分かれるが尾根通りで行って沢通りで帰ってくるのがオススメ。言わずと知れた真田の名城として有名だが、元々はこの地を納めていた吾妻氏の城である。上田から沼田を結ぶ真田道の中間点にあった要所で、武田三城の１つだった。1615年の一国一城令で廃城となった。平沢口駐車場からは30分ほどの登山で本丸趾までアクセス可。群馬原町駅からは徒歩40分ほどで平沢口駐車場までアクセス可。番匠坂の真田道経由もあるが、複数箇所で本気の倒木が酷いためオススメしない。ちなみに登山道は全線が杉林なので、２～４月はスギ花粉の猛威がハンパ無い。

It was one of the three Takeda castles at the middle point of the Sanada road connecting Ueda and Numata. It was abandoned by the one-country-one-castle decree of 1615. From the Hirasawaguchi parking lot, you can reach Honmaru Toe by climbing for about 30 minutes. From Gunma Haramachi Station, you can reach the Hirasawaguchi parking lot in about 40 minutes on foot. There is also a route via Sanada Road on Bansho-zaka, but I don't recommend it because the serious fallen trees are terrible in multiple places. By the way, the entire mountain trail is a cedar forest, so there is no rush of sugi pollen from February to April.

岩櫃山登山道入り口は積雪がありました。（積雪というか、溶け切ってないんでしょう。）
岩櫃城址までの道は連日の寒波のせいか10cmオーバーの霜柱がたっていてザクザク歩くのが楽しかったです。
たどり着いて思ったのは、こりゃ攻めるのは辛いわ…です笑

There was snow at the entrance of the Iwabitsuyama mountain trail. (Snow cover, or maybe it hasn't melted completely.)
The road to the Iwabitsu Castle Ruins had frost columns over 10 cm, probably because of the cold waves every day, and it was fun to walk crunchy.
When I arrived, I thought it would be hard to attack ... lol
