The theory of Kesema Shrine listed in the section of Mutsu Kuni Oshika-gun in the Shinto shrine.
Settled in Kesennuma Port.
The company name stone pillar at the entrance of the precincts has "Isuzu Shrine", and on the side there is "Omizumi Shrine / Yakumo Shrine".
A variety of vegetation can be seen in the precincts where a small amount of virgin forest remains, which is rare in urban areas. Among them, the precincts of "Mokugenji" are said to be the northern limit.
There is a historical abbreviation in the precincts, so according to it,
The deities enshrine Amaterasu Okami at Isuzu Shrine, Susanoo-no-Mikoto at Yakumo Shrine, and Oumi Tsumi Okami at Ryu Shrine.
Ryu Shrine is probably Daikaizumi Shrine.
The theory of Kesema Shrine of Shikinai Shrine is Ryu Shrine.
According to the company's biography, it was enshrined in a place called Marumori during the Oei era (1394-1428), and then relocated to this place during the Enpo era (1673-1681). There was a big earthquake off the northern coast of Miyagi prefecture in the 6th year of Enpo, so I wonder if it was affected by that.
There is Igari Shrine in the precincts. It is said that this shrine enshrines Shinbei Inokari, who introduced seaweed cultivation and salt production to Kesennuma Bay.
In addition, Takuboku Ishikawa stayed in Kesennuma when he was a junior high school student in Morioka, where he first saw the sea, looked at Oshima, and then went north on the Sanriku coast.

For the past few years, the famous saury in Kesennuma, where Isuzu Shrine is located, seems to have been unfishing, and it may not be the case that Ebisu of this shrine is laughing, but the taxi driver said, "In the old days, saury was not. I shouldn't have bought it. When the season came, I had to go around from somewhere every day. I hadn't eaten saury for the past three years because it wasn't caught. What happened? " .. In other words, three years ago, Ebisu couldn't stop laughing, and the locals could eat saury even though they didn't buy it. Having said that, was there someone who bought it, and was it acting on a large scale every day? That's what makes it so brave.

I walked along the coast of Kesennuma Bay, which is full of reconstruction work, and walked in the direction of a company that is visible from the port.
I stayed in Kesennuma for a few days, and I wanted to go to Isuzu Shrine before I got home, and I dragged my suitcase around, but it was eight years after the earthquake, but there was no sidewalk, even in places where there was no sidewalk. After struggling to avoid the gravel road, we finally reached the shrine of Hakata.
Because it was a daytime on weekdays, the vertically long precincts are quiet and there are no signs of people at the awarding place.
When I went to the sea side, at the end there was the Tsumagari Shrine that I was aiming for until I came to Hakata. What surprised me was the wood carving that was applied to the small company.
This is wonderful!
Various designs such as dragons applied to the whole were completed at a very high level and were overlooked for a while.
When we got down to the sea at the steep stairs, the scars of the earthquake or handrails were destroyed.
A few birds of mourning were absent from the air, and it was strange that their misery and peace coexisted.
I wanted a bill and amulet, but I felt that it was bad to bother the awarding center and I left the ground (I feel like there are no people who come in the daytime on weekdays).
Since Kesennuma is really looking forward to reconstruction in the future, I plan to stop by in front of you when it comes again.
