★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 急行が停まらないので、難波方面から沿岸部の工業地帯にビジネスで行きたい客は、堺で降りて乗り換える必要がある。駅前にロータリーもない、三つ隣駅の羽衣が急行停車駅なのは、「かつて有力代議士の地元でもあり、資産家の別荘や大企業の保養所があったからね」とはタクシーの運転手さんの談。
羽衣だけではなく、もちろんこのあたりも、埋め立てられてしまう前は、駅を降りれば（阪神高速道路が走っているあたりから）すぐに美しい砂浜であったとのこと。
高度成長のためには仕方なかったのかもしれないが、まことに惜しい気もする。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 西側に埋め立ての工業地帯をかかえるため南海本線の急行非停車駅としてはトップクラスの乗降数朝のラッシュ時は人でいっぱい
相対型のホームのためエレベーターは二階で乗り換えだが身障者、老人、ベビーカーなんかの方には無いよりずっと良い（おそらく両側に直通をつけるとなると二階～一階の階段スペースが絞られボトルネックになると思われるので苦肉の策かと）
タクシーメインのロータリーがありそれへの配慮か改札外にもトイレがあるのがなかなか良いところかと思う

Because of the relative platform, the elevator is changed on the second floor, but it is much better than people with disabilities, the elderly, and strollers. (Probably if there is direct communication on both sides, the stair space on the second floor to the first floor will be narrowed down and it will become a bottleneck. I think it's quite nice that there is a taxi-main rotary and there is a toilet outside the ticket gate.

需要はどこの駅でも相応にある。
各駅停車だから乗降出来ない訳ではない。
時間軸で見ても急行と数分の差だし、それを削ったとしてその数分で何人が何をするのか。
その辺のビジョンはあるのか。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 当駅は臨海線に隣接している工場地帯に向かう為にある駅であり、朝夕の通勤時間は多くの利用者が見受けられますデス。
2階がホームで1階に改札口が1箇所あるでやんす。
ハ～イ。
駅周辺には工場関係者を見込んでかビジネスホテルや飲食系の店舗があるでやんす。
高架下にある店舗街は閑散としており9割はシャッターが閉まっておりますデス。
また、土地柄もあってか車通勤される方が大半と思われ、それが理由が分からないですけども駅前にはコンビニはありまっせ～ん。

コンビニは臨海線に向かう道沿いにも無く、離れた場所にあるので電車通勤者の目線で捉えた印象としては利便性は悪いでやんすよ。

改札を出て右側（臨海線方面）にはロータリーがありタクシーはもちろんのこと、各工場従業員の送迎用ワゴン車が停まっているざーますわよ。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 特定の方の事なので他の駅員さんはわかりませんが1人とても態度が酷い駅員さんがいました。(通る度に声掛けしてくださる素敵な方もいらっしゃいます)先日改札を通った後電車時刻を調べると乗り換え先でトラブルがあり電車が止まっているみたいだったので車で行こうと窓口で取りやめて貰えないかお願いした時マスク越しでもわかる面倒くさそうな顔をして説明中に私の手に持っているICOCAを奪うような速度で取り話も聞いて貰えず 気だるげに『はいはいはい通せばいいんでしょ』と聞こえてくるような対応をされました。改札を通る前に気づけなかった私が悪いのはわかっていますが流石にあれは無いなと思いました。

When I checked the train time after passing through the ticket gate the other day, it seemed that there was a problem at the transfer destination and the train was stopped, so I canceled it at the counter to go by car. When I asked if I could get it, I could understand it even through the mask. During the explanation, I couldn't hear the story at a speed that would take away the ICOCA I had in my hand. I was able to hear that. I knew that I was bad because I didn't notice it before passing through the ticket gate, but I thought that there was nothing wrong with it.
