車一台の車線しかなく、すれ違い全く出来ないうえ、側溝があるので、車は、避けた方が、いい道です。
 Prefectural road No. 42, if it is a car, we do not recommend going down or going up.
There is only one lane, you can't pass each other at all, and there are gutters, so it's a good idea to avoid cars.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 5差路の複雑な交差点で、つつじヶ丘のロープーウェイに通じる場所です。行ったときは走り屋と珍走車が爆走していて自転車で走るのが怖かった。
It is a complicated intersection with 5 different roads and leads to the ropeway of Tsutsujigaoka. When I went there, I was afraid to ride a bicycle because the runners and rare cars were exploding.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 車で来ると(下りは特にか)何だか混乱する場所。私の理解度と判断力が鈍いのかもしれないが。
ここで「幅員狭小」という看板のある道の方には下って行ってはいけないと思う(県道42号で石岡方面に下る側)。こちら側はとりあえず丁寧に幅員狭小とか道幅について看板が警告してくれてます。
県道42号で石岡側から上がってくるのも(特に自分のような下手くそには)まずおすすめしません。ナビやGoogle mapが案内しても無視しましょう。※果樹園などのある石岡側はそういう感じの警告がなかったはず…。うっかりこの道に入って、やがて大型禁止とか出てくるんだけど、その後地獄が始まるから注意して。
A place that is somewhat confusing when coming by car (especially downhill). Maybe my understanding and judgment are dull.
I don't think you should go down to the road with the sign "Narrow width" (prefectural road No. 42 going down toward Ishioka). For the time being, the signboard warns us about the narrow width and the width of the road.
It is not recommended to come up from the Ishioka side on Prefectural Road 42 (especially for bad shit like yourself). Even if the navigation or Google map guides you, ignore it. * The Ishioka side, where the orchards are located, should not have had such a warning ... I inadvertently entered this road, and eventually a big ban came out, but be careful because hell will start after that.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 初見殺しで初めてここを通る時、どうすれば良いのか解らない上に表記も剥げて見えない。更に今どきイニシャルDに感化されたっぽいバカな走り屋が出没するのでとても危険。地元の方には無法者の排除をしっかり頑張ってほしい。
When you go through here for the first time, it will not be able to see the notation not to know how to solve it. 石岡方面、土浦方面、筑波山神社方面へ分岐しています。
つつじヶ丘駐車場から下ってくる方向から見ると、左側が石岡方面、正面直進が土浦方面、右側が筑波山神社方面です。
この峠からは麓の景色を見ることができません。
Confluence at Mt. Tsukuba Hill Climb.
It branches to Ishioka, Tsuchiura, and Tsukubasan Shrine.
Looking down from the Tsukubaoka parking lot, the left side is for Ishioka, the front straight ahead is for Tsuchiura, and the right side is for Tsukubasan Shrine.
You cannot see the scenery at the foot of the mountain from this pass.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 夜中縦走で通過しましたが、夜中でも人(走り屋)がいて賑やかでした。写真の通り複雑な道になってます。
夜道を歩く時はライトでアピールしないと走行車が爆走してきますが、光確認すると車が減速して通過してくれたので助かりました。
I passed by running vertically in the middle of the night, but it was lively with people (runners) even at night. As you can see in the picture, the road is complicated.
When walking on the night road, if you do not appeal with the light, the traveling car will explode, but when you check the light, the car slowed down and passed, so it was saved.
