★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 綾瀬川の起点を示す2つの標石のうちの一つです。こちらは、地面からの高さ50センチほどの磨かれた御影石製で、「一級河川綾瀬川起点」と刻まれた面は道路に背を向けるように設置されています。刻まれた文字のには白い塗料のようなものが充填されています。道路側には「埼玉県」と刻まれています。設置年は見当たりませんでした。
備前堤を貫通するような樋管の真上に設置されており、樋管の銘板には「明治四十五年三月竣功」とあります。が、樋管の名称は不明。
冬は雑草がないぶんゴミが目立つため、歴史ある「備前堤」も台無しといった感じで、うーん残念。クリーン作戦のボランテイアがあったら応募したい・・・。
 It is one of the two standard stones indicating the starting point of the Ayase River. This is made of polished granite with a height of about 50 cm above the ground, and the surface marked with "Starting point of the first-class river Ayase River" is installed so that its back is facing the road. The engraved letters are filled with something like white paint. "Saitama Prefecture" is engraved on the road side. I couldn't find the installation year.
It is installed right above the gutter pipe that penetrates the Bizen bank, and the name plate of the gutter pipe says "Completed in March 1875". However, the name of the gutter is unknown.
It's a shame that the historic "Bizen Tsutsumi" is ruined because there is no weed in the winter and there is a lot of garbage. I would like to apply if there is a volunteer for clean operation.
