★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 静鉄唯一、旅客用の汲取り式便所があった駅。現在は旅客用トイレとしての役目を終え、幻のトイレとなっていたのが残念。立地上トイレ新設も困難。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 静岡鉄道清水線と東海道本線が並走する切通しの上を横切る跨線橋道路上にある駅の入口。そこはちょっとした高台になっており清水の中心街に向かい高度を落として行く東側の眺めが良いです。またこの先で進路を違える静鉄線と東海道線を通過する列車の離合集散の動きが面白く自分の中の子ども心をくすぐります。静岡・清水の都市間連絡線ということで運行本数もそこそこありこれに遭遇する機会には恵まれていると思います。ひとつ残念な点は富士山の眺めのど真ん中に清水駅前の高層建築が狙いすましたように立ちはだかっていることです。心の中で「このお邪魔虫め」とつぶやいてしまいます。(2019-04-02)

It is a little high and there is a good view on the east side going to the downtown area of Shimizu and lowering the altitude. In addition, movement of disassociation of the train which passes the Seitetsu Line and Tokaido Line which change the course in the future is interesting and tickles the child heart in oneself. I think that it is blessed with the opportunity to encounter this because there are not too many service numbers for intercity connection lines in Shizuoka and Shimizu. One unfortunate point is that the high-rise buildings in front of Shimizu Station aim in the middle of the view of Mt. Fuji. In my heart, I will say, "This is a bug." (2019-04-02)
