★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Every year during late March, the trees explode in a breathtaking display of pink petals, as Tokyo’s beloved cherry blossoms burst from their boughs. This wondrous phenomenon is short-lived, however, as the accompanying photo below illustrates, with the fallen petals coming to form their characteristic beautiful pink swirls floating on the surface of Inokashira Pond of Inokashira Park (Inokashira-Koen).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a great date spot, but they say that the local pond goddess gets real jealous if you come here for a date and you will break up later on. This park is also featured in Bi-hana (where they meet the dude with a red hat) and other countless japanese movies & doramas. Lovely spot!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just beautiful! Short well maintained walkway to Ghibli museum and sports grounds. Lovely swan-boats available for hire. Little Shop with icecream for those hot days. Toilets available.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful park with two shrines. Try boating around the pond in a swan-mobile. We had a great time here. There are numerous restaurants/cafes that line the park. Also, on weekends local artists sell their wares on the north side of the pond.
Perfect for a weekend trip!

Cherry blossom trees are almost fully bloomed and beautifully look?
Boats are so crowded so you might not see and enjoy flowers with the quite atmosphere on boats.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing place! People are coming and resting in the benches while seeing the beautiful views. The most fantastic season are springtime and Autumn. During spring the fascinating Sakura Reflecting in the water while during autumn the colorful leaves especially the momiji leaves was amazing.
