 I'm glad that the explanation board of the Jinya ruins is properly installed. There are no remains.

It is right next to the Omi merchant's residence, Shigeru Tonomura's residence. You can see that the land of Gokasho prospered by Omi merchants.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 1683年、本多忠平が大和郡山藩主として入封した際に、近江国内で4万石の所領が与えられ神崎郡等の所領管理のため五個荘金堂に陣屋が置かれました。
この陣屋は役所、役宅、土蔵、牢屋、稲荷神社が長屋門と長い塀に囲まれた造りとなっており大和郡山藩士が代官として交代で在番していましたが、明治に入り廃止されました。
跡地も今は稲荷神社のみが残されていますが、長屋門は西側にあるお寺さま、勝徳寺に移築されています。勝徳寺さまにお参りさせて頂いたとき、お寺の門がお武家様の屋敷門そのものの風情でしたが陣屋の説明板を見てとても納得がいきました。

This camp was built with the government office, official residence, dozo, prison, and Inari shrine surrounded by a nagayamon and a long wall. ..
Only Inari Shrine is left on the site, but the nagayamon has been relocated to Katsutokuji, a temple on the west side. When I visited Katsutokuji, the gate of the temple was like the samurai's mansion gate itself, but I was very convinced when I saw the explanation board of the Jinya.
