江戸後期成立の『若葉抄』の「御鷹部屋」の項目に稲荷の記載がある。もしかすると、当地のこれと同定されるものかもしれないが、全くの邪推。
(仮にそうだとして)同書によると、この近くに「蛙が池」という池があったそうである。また、当地に存在した御鷹部屋の原っぱを「神所」と呼んだらしいが、その名前の由来はこの稲荷神社だそうである。

There is a description of Inari in the "Mitaka room" section of "Wakabasho", which was established in the late Edo period. Perhaps it can be identified as this here, but it's a complete misconception.
According to the book (if so), there was a pond called "Frog Pond" near here. In addition, it seems that the field of the Mitaka room that existed here was called "Kamisho", but the origin of the name is said to be this Inari shrine.
