学習院移転の際遷座。鳥居に明治43年建立の記録。

Transferred when relocating to Gakushuin. Recorded at the torii in 1873.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 結構な坂道ですが近衛町から駅への近道らしくて結構人通りがあります。凛々しいコンコン様が迎えてくれます。境内にある小さな「金湧く沢」の碑は101歳の長老の達筆な書です。金湧く沢とはおとめ山あたりの湧水のことでしょうか。ご利益のありそうな縁起の良い名ですね。

こちらの目白豊坂稲荷神社は目白駅ホームを見下ろす小さなお社です。

御祭神は若宇賀女命・木花咲耶姫命。
目の前の坂は豊坂と呼ばれるため豊坂稲荷神社と呼ばれる様になる。
1908年に尾張町から目白に学習院が移転したことに伴い移築された。学習院構内に祀られていたときは此花咲耶姫稲荷と称されていたそう。
