Several hundred years old and still used for its original purpose means that there is a truest authentic spiritual sense to the place. Lovely go-shuin to mark the visit. Calm and peaceful place in the center of a very busy city.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the highlight of my whole trip. We were so lucky that we are able to catch the local Ikutama Matsuri which is held every year 11 July- 12July. I highly recommend if you have not experienced and japanese matsuri before. Even though the food there wasn’t amazing but it’s still a great experience to have. The taiko performance is truly amazing and it show how crazy osaka people can get.
