★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 岡崎市自然環境保護区に指定された湿地帯。市内で最も古くから残っているミズゴケ類を主体とし、四季折々に湿地固有の貴重な動植物に出会える。市の天然記念物に指定されている。
 Wetlands designated as Okazaki City Natural Environment Reserve. The sphagnum moss remains, which is the oldest in the city, and you can come across the precious flora and fauna peculiar to the wetland every season. It is designated as a natural monument of the city.

そのときは晴れの日が続いていて植物たちに元気がなかったので、雨降りの3日くらいあとにもまた行きたい！！
散策するのはここが初めてになるので、貴重な植物を見つける力も養っていきたいです！

I saw a scarlet dwarf at a nature observation event more than 10 years ago. When I went this time, I was impressed that there was a walking path other than the A wetland. Thank you for taking care of us.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 春先にギフチョウが観察できます。植物ではナンカイイワカガミ、ヒナノシャクジョウなど季節により色々な植物が観察できます。又苔類の種類も多く見られます。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 北山湿地は、ギフチョウやハッチョウトンボも観察できる貴重なスポットです。岡崎市自然環境保全地区・愛知県指定天然記念物なので、動植物等一切採集禁止。写真以外はお持ち帰りできません。
東名高速岡崎ICから程近く、未舗装道路を走りますが、駐車場がきちんとあります。
入口には紙のコースガイドが置いてあり、迷子にならずに済みました。
周回コースでヤナガ沢池から入ってA湿地〜K湿地を巡れ、見通しが悪いところもあり、うっかり迷子になりそうでした。
A湿地などは木道が整備され、湿地の中央からの観察もできます。ハッチョウトンボも実際に見ることができました。
木札等で樹種の表示や、種類の豊富なコケ類に種類を示す表示もあり、分かりやすかったです。
マムシ、スズメバチに注意の看板もあったので、注意が必要です。
お子様連れの場合は、長袖長ズボンをお薦めします。
うちの5歳児は、「恐竜探検隊亅（多分シダが大きく茂ってたからかと）と探検気分でした。
The Kitayama Wetland is a valuable spot where you can also observe the Gifu butterfly and the Hakucho dragonfly. Since it is a natural monument designated by Aichi Prefecture in Okazaki City's natural environment conservation area, all animals and plants are prohibited from collection. You can't take out anything other than photos.
It is close to the Tomei Expressway Okazaki IC and runs on unpaved roads, but there is a proper parking lot.
There was a paper course guide at the entrance, so I didn't get lost.
I entered the Yanagazawa pond on a circuit course and went through A wetlands to K wetlands, and there were places with poor visibility, so I seemed to be inadvertently lost.
A wetland has a wooden path so you can observe from the center of the wetland. I could actually see the butterfly dragonfly.
It was easy to understand because there are indications of the tree species on the wooden plaque, etc., and indications of the variety of moss species.
Be careful as there are signs that warn pit vibes and wasps.
If you are traveling with children, we recommend long-sleeved long pants.
One of our five-year-olds was like, "I was exploring with a dinosaur expedition (probably because the ferns were overgrown).
