★ ★ ★ ★ ★ カップルで1泊2日素泊まり利用。当初は一番お値段が安い13800円の部屋を取りましたが、やはり金具屋が見える部屋が良いということで部屋を変更し、二人で17860円+入湯税300円=合計18160円なり。
旅館はなかなかに風情のある（古い）外観・及び内装でしたが、事前に電話でリクエストしていたこともあり、道路を挟んで有名な金具屋が目の前に見える最高のお部屋でした。室内には洗面所しか付いてないためトイレは同階の別場所に行く必要がありますが、とくに不便は感じませんでした。Wi-Fiも室内利用できました。
地下一階にある温泉風呂はなかなかに居心地がよく、周りの９温泉を巡らなくともここだけで十分楽しめました。
個人的にとくに不満はないのですが、しいて難点を上げるとすれば古い建物でエレベータがないため、車椅子や足の悪い方、お年寄りが利用するのはなかなか厳しいかなと思います。あと宿自体に駐車場がないため、車で来る方は近隣の共同駐車場（800円）を利用する必要があります（あとで宿側が半分負担してくれるため実質駐車代一泊400円）。
今回は素泊まりで食事は頂いていないため、旅館料理のクオリティーは不明です。
結論、金具屋が目の前に見える部屋を取れれば最高の旅館だと思います。金具屋自体に泊まるより、むしろこちらに泊まったほうがライトアップされた金具屋の美しい外観を堪能できます。夜に窓を全開にして金具屋の夜景を横目に見ながら、itunesでジャズを聴きつつ酒を飲むのは最高に気分が良かったです。

 Couples stay overnight for 2 days without meals. Initially, I took the cheapest room at 13800 yen, but I changed the room because I wanted a room with a view of the metal fittings shop, and it was 17860 yen for two people + 300 yen for bath tax = 18160 yen in total.
The ryokan had a nice (old) exterior and interior, but I had requested it by phone in advance, so it was the best room where I could see the famous metal fittings shop across the road. Since there is only a washroom in the room, I had to go to another place on the same floor for the toilet, but I didn't feel any inconvenience. Wi-Fi was also available indoors.
The hot spring bath on the first basement floor is quite comfortable, and I enjoyed it just here without visiting the surrounding 9 hot springs.
Personally, I'm not particularly dissatisfied, but if I raise the difficulty, I think it's quite difficult for people with wheelchairs, people with poor legs, and the elderly to use it because there is no elevator in the old building. Also, since there is no parking lot in the inn itself, those who come by car need to use the nearby shared parking lot (800 yen) (the inn will pay half the cost later, so the actual parking fee is 400 yen per night).
The quality of the inn food is unknown because we haven't eaten without meals this time.
In conclusion, I think it would be the best inn if you could get a room where you can see the metal fittings shop in front of you. Rather than staying at the metal fittings shop itself, you can enjoy the beautiful appearance of the illuminated metal fittings shop by staying here. It was really nice to have a drink while listening to jazz on itunes while opening the window fully at night and looking sideways at the night view of Kanaguya.

お料理も、他の方が言われているような量ではなく。
ほんとに少食の私で少ないくらい。
宿でこんな状態は初めて。
普通のプランのお値段払っているのに。
足りません。
トイレ、洗面所は共同、廊下寒い、エレベーターなしでお風呂、ご飯所は地下です。高齢者は無理です。ロビーはぼぼ無し。ウェルカムもなし。サービスほぼなし。お風呂も狭い(そこは別にいいが)アメニティなし。暗い。駐車場なし。共同の駐車場から割と歩きます。
安かろうならまだしも、この値段でこれ？という感じ。せっかくの度が残念でした。
今度は他探します。
This is not good. If this was the case, another inn would have been nice. I will talk with my feeling that I like traveling to hot springs inside and outside the prefecture.

Not enough.
Toilets and washrooms are shared, corridors are cold, baths without elevators, and rice rooms are underground. Elderly people are impossible. The lobby is empty. No welcome. Almost no service. The bath is small (although that's fine), and there are no amenities. dark. No parking lot. Walk relatively from the communal parking lot.
If it's cheap, is this at this price? It feels like. It was a pity that I had a lot of trouble.
I will look for another one this time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 湯田中温泉の少し先、渋温泉でいわゆる温泉街を満喫しました(2021年8月に2泊)。海外の近代都市やリゾートに行った後にこの地を訪れれば、忘れていた古き良き日本をさらに堪能できると思います。いかり屋さんは豪華ではないものの明治・大正を感じさせる木造建築に、丁寧な接客とおいしい夕・朝食。特に朝食はホテルあるあるバイキングメニューではなく、丁寧に膳を用意いただき満足でした。宿のお風呂をはじめ温泉は大変熱く、九つの外湯巡り(スタンプラリー的な)では水で埋めたりして抵抗したものの熱くて浸かることをあきらめた源泉もありました。チャレンジ精神に火をつけてくれる温泉です。泉質も山向こうの草津温泉に引けをとらない「濃い」印象です。志賀高原の入り口に位置し、冬場はスキー・スノボ客で賑わうようですね。
I strongly recommend you to go to Shibu Onsen. You will be able to enjoy the good old Japanese hot spring town there. Please note that the hot springs are very hot.

A little ahead of Yudanaka Onsen, I enjoyed the so-called hot spring town at Shibu Onsen (2 nights in August 2021). If you visit this place after visiting modern cities and resorts overseas, you will be able to enjoy the good old Japan that you have forgotten. The Ikariya is not luxurious, but it has a wooden structure that makes you feel the Meiji and Taisho eras, with polite customer service and a delicious evening and breakfast. Especially for breakfast, I was satisfied with the polite preparation of the set, not the buffet menu at the hotel. The hot springs, including the inn's bath, are very hot, and in the nine outdoor hot spring tours (stamp rally-like), there were some sources that resisted by filling them with water but gave up on being soaked. It is a hot spring that ignites the spirit of challenge. The quality of the spring is as strong as that of Kusatsu Onsen over the mountains. Located at the entrance of Shiga Kogen, it seems to be crowded with ski and snowboarders in winter.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ まさにザ.温泉旅館でした。宿もかけ流しの温泉なのに周囲にも9つの温泉。料理は丁寧でとても美味しく、お姉さん方のおもてなしもとても良かったです。遠いのですが、また行きたいです。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 渋温泉観光客男女比率がどんなものなのか知りませんが、少なくとも昨晩こちらのお宿の晩ごはん時を見渡せば殆どは女性でした。
そんなことで３回入ったお風呂はいつも貸切。
何種類ものお風呂がばぁ〜んと待ち構えているマンモス温泉も良いのですが、湯船は小さくとも貸切でダラ〜んとできる方が僕には堪らないのでした。
日々の疲れを癒すため外湯めぐりを楽しみに訪ねたのですが、あまりの気持ちよさに外湯はどうでもよくなって、晩飯を腹パンまで頂いて１０時間も寝てしまいました。。。
渋温泉のお湯は熱いと旅前の予習で頭に擦り込まれてましたが、程良く適温な、いつまでも入っていられそうな気持ちいいお風呂でした。

When the hot water in Shibu Onsen was hot, it was rubbed into my head in preparation for the trip, but it was a comfortable bath with a moderate temperature that I could take in forever.
