長野県史跡で整備中。
昔の資料も集めているらしい
さすがに県の指定史跡、真夏なのに芝生がキレイに刈り込んである。
無料駐車場、トイレ、案内板はあるし、それぞれの門跡や曲輪、切岸から堀跡、枡形虎口まで説明板が建っている。

散策道も整備されててお散歩にはちょうどイイトコ♪

隅々まで見て歩くとけっこう時間のかかるうれしい城跡だったよん♪

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ まだ少し雪が残っていて、雪融けでぬかるんで足元が悪い箇所があり、折れた枝がそのままになっていました。
三の丸、二の丸、本丸と縄張りが解りやすかったです。城門の遺構があり、良かったです。
遊具もあり子どもも遊ばせられます。

Sannomaru, Ninomaru, Honmaru and territory were easy to understand. It was good that there was a remains of the castle gate.
There are also playsets so children can play.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The castle building has long vanished, but the earthworks remain. A charming and little known public park. Worth exploring if you have time to spare before your shinkansen departs from the nearby (400 m) Iiyama Station.
