★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went in right as it opened at 5. The menu is very simple and reasonably priced. The food was very tasty. I ordered the Hirekatsu because I don’t like the fatty parts of the meat, and even without the fat it was juicy and flavorful as well as soft. Placed filled up pretty quickly so you may have to wait for a seat. Reasonable and yummy, I look forward to going again sometime.
However, not sure if they have an English menu.

Place is clean (almost looks new)
We had 1 hirekatsu large size (1150 yen) which comes with 3 pieces and 1 hirekatsu normal size (950 yen) which comes with 2 pieces. Both sets come with cabbage, large amount of rice and asari miso soup.
Honestly it was really good - the breading was perfect and crunchy and the pork was tender.
Service was also great - not a typical grumpy old man cooking it
Definitely recommend coming

Don't want to review this place; not because this place isn't worth going to but because it's one of our fave tonkatsu restaurants in Tokyo and it's already full of local and loyal followings that sometimes you need to que outside.
Can always go here without worrying about our bill.
750 Japanese yen for " ロースカツ定食" is unbelievable after living in Hong kong for nearly 10 years.
If you're not starving, better ask for small portion for a bowl of rice; just say " Gohan sukuname de onegaishimasu."
Instead of ordering the popular "ロースカツ定食" I sometimes order fillet cutlet with fried squid cutlet.
Please note that it's not an eatery for a relaxing, long chat but rather like a casual quick fix dining. As soon as you've finished eating, pay the bill and go out.
