★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 「一里松」は道標(みちしるべ)です。但馬往来街道に立っています。
見事な二本の黒松の横に広がる枝振りが見事です。(何本かの支え柱)
江戸時代後期から厳しい砂地の環境下で生育して今に至ります。
多くの往来人は柳茶屋で一休みをし日本海を眺め砂丘を見て風光明媚な景色を楽しんだと共に今夜の予定に思いを巡らしたことでしょう。
「一里松」の側を海に向かって進むと直ぐに日本海が広がり右手には岩美町の駟馳山、背後の海に突き出るように浮かぶ菜種島等が見えています。
昔からの少しも変わらない景色を昔の人が見ていたように今でもこうして自分も眺めていることに不思議な感覚を覚えます。
「一里松」はそんな不思議な感覚を呼び覚ましてくれました。
