★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 砂丘の観光地から離れた場所ですが、市街地が見下ろせる場所なので、車で立ち寄る人が時折訪れます。駐車場ではないですが、車が3〜4台置ける空き地があります。
Although it is a place away from the tourist destination of the sand dunes, it is a place where the city can be overlooked, so people who stop by the car sometimes visit it. It is not a parking lot, but there is an open space where you can place 3 to 4 cars.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 有島武郎が鳥取砂丘を訪ねた年は大正12年4月の時、与謝野晶子が訪ねた年は7年後の昭和5年5月25日、夫の与謝野鉄幹と一緒に鳥取入りをしましたが、鳥取砂丘には一人で訪れました。
そして友人有島の死を悼み詠んだ歌が「武郎晶子陀涙の地碑」として今に伝わります。
晶子と武郎は出身地は違えど、生まれた年は同年で互いの存在は文壇上でもよくよく知り合っていましたから、晶子はそれこそ陀涙してこの歌を詠んだに違いありません。
晶子にとり鳥取砂丘訪問は善き供養の旅だったと思われます。
石碑の向く方角には鳥取市内と山並みが見えています。
The year that Takeo Arishima visited the Tottori Sand Dunes was in April 1926, and the year that Akiko Yosano visited was May 7, 1975, seven years later, with Toshii Tetsukan of the husband Yosano. I visited Tottori Sand Dunes by myself.
And, a song mourning the death of my friend Arishima is now being transmitted as "Takenou Monument of Akiko Takero".
Akiko and Takero are from different origins, but they were born in the same year and knew each other's existence well on the podium, so Akiko must have cried and sang this song.
It seems that visiting Tottori Sand Dunes in Akiko was a good memorial trip.
You can see Tottori city and mountains in the direction of the stone monument.
