駅ができて放射線状に開発されたのか、城跡により昔から城を中心に城下町があったのかは、調べていないので分からないです。

遺構等はありませんが、ここに城があったんだなぁ、と想像すると感慨深いです。
元々廃城になってたので遺構がないのも致し方ないかなぁ?
一宮城は平重盛の子孫、伊勢関氏が治めてたそうです?伊勢からは少し遠いような...
戦国時代には、関長安が織田信長や羽柴秀吉に仕えてたとのこと。
名鉄一宮駅から歩いて5分くらいの場所です。
近くにお越しの際は、商店街をぶらぶらしながら一宮城跡へ行くのもいいかもしれませんね！なんもないけど?
