★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 西国三十三ヶ所観音霊場の御本尊の石仏を祀り、現地の砂をその前に敷いて、その上に立って祈れば西国三十三ヶ所観音霊場を全て巡礼したことになる、という御堂。(お砂踏み)
かつては妙高山に巡礼道を張り巡らせて、山道を周遊して拝礼してまわる形式だったものを、一ヶ所で済ませられるようにしたようだ。
時間のない現代人はななかなか山道を歩いてまわるのは大変だからだろう。
御堂の奥に丹波七福神の恵比寿さまも祀られている。
それぞれの御朱印もこちらで書き置きのものを授与される。
