m	mau mau on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 早朝と夜間は駅員のいない小さな駅だが自動販売機・トイレ・ゴミ箱・券売機・簡易改札と一通りそろっている。跨線橋はいわゆる歩道橋のようなもので屋根は無く、待合室は狭い。都市部の駅よりホームが一段低く、駅舎に入るにも階段のみでバリアフリーは完全無視。駅前はおよそ2時間おきにやってくるバスのバス停、ロータリー、電話ボックスが整備。時々、山武市の乗り合いタクシーも待機中。最寄のコンビニは1km近く離れている。 ※宮崎県の日向とは関係ありません(一応意識しているのかヤシの木が植わっている...)
