j	joy longakit on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Looks like you're not in Japan. The scene is superb especially for a wedding and romantic escapade. What I observed most aside from an astounding architectural design of the building is the art of service from the staff. This place is great all year round. This is already my fave place.

That being said, one of the Italian restaurants in the shopping street was very gracious and exquisite in their preparation of a meal in the truest sense.

The resort was amazing with a beautiful chapel. I was there 8 years ago, I hope everything is still fine. Wish to visit again during our anniversary.

The pool also has a sauna, an indoor/outdoor jacuzzi and two kids' play areas, which include a water and ball pool, three slides and other small attractions. The rooms are great and spacious. I stayed there one time when my daughter was under two years old for my wife's birthday. We dropped her off at a place that takes care of kids and went to dinner all on the hotel's grounds. They also have a nice wine bar and grill on the hotel grounds. If you want to stay in a forested area and still have really nice amenities, then I truly recommend this hotel. Also, they have an outdoor recreation area behind a wing of the the hotel for older kids, which my daughter will probably go walking among the trees in this great area next year. I almost forgot to mention that there are many shops and restaurants as you walk outside between the two wings of the hotel's rooms. It is fairly close to the Kobuchizawa IC on Chuo highway. I think they have buses to the hotel from various places but I have always driven to the hotel. If you take a train and a bus to get there, you will still have many things to do during your stay.
M	Moritz Adler on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hotel markets itself as English speaking but most employees don't speak English at all. Also most menus in the shopping street restaurant are Japanese only. Rooms are spacious but the heating is beyond ridiculous. Insulation is almost not existing and so you are forced to run the noisy A/C at full power the whole day and night. Also the beds are hard and the kitchen is outdated (and has no plates, forks/knives anything). Why have a kitchen in the first place if there is nothing in it? This morning we had to wait 15 minutes to have breakfast with our kids. Don't think I've ever seen this in a hotel that charges $400 a night... Staff is overall very friendly though, the food is excellent and the shopping street has a sweet charm to it.
S	Suguru Katja on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not really a dog-friendly place... We went there together with our two dogs and stayed for two nights. On the website it was advertised as a place you can enjoy with your dogs but that isn't really true. First of all, the hotel was completely crowded with lots of children which isn't an ideal environment for most dogs. Second, there were no facilities for dogs. No dog run or anything else a dog would have enjoyed. Third, the restaurant has a table for customers with dogs but after our dog barked once (because a child was running towards it) we were told to bring our dogs back to our room. It totally makes sense that barking would annoy other customers but the restaurant was full of screaming, crying and running children which were never told to be quiet. For families it might be a good place to stay at but I don't recommend it to any dog owner. The room was very spacious but the bathroom was disappointing. Small shower and small bathtub, not really what I was expecting for the price we paid. The spa was very small considering the amount of people staying there. The hotel has a very big pool which was great for all the children there

However the facility is old despite of new renovation done in the room we stayed. Of course, Hoshino’s breakfast is always splendid as usual, which never lets me down so far. Besides, there are some outdoor activities that family can join, but not that many as being introduced on website.
