★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 樋口一葉が寺の隣に五歳から十歳までの間住んでおり、当時の法真寺の若僧とよく一緒に遊んだそうです。この若僧が「たけくらべ」の中に登場する「真如」のモデルといわれています。一葉は晩年、当山を「桜木の宿」と呼び、懐かしんだといわれています。
