★ ★ ★ ★ ★ とても静かで気品のある雰囲気に感激しながら参拝させていただきました。ちなみに欠史8代の帝様の時代においては、蓬莱とは和歌山県新宮の蓬莱山（阿須賀神社さん）にいわく中国の宝の眠る山だったのではないかと思われます。ただこちらの住居表示は宝来だそうです。アスカ神社さんは欠史八代の帝様の時代に日本に中国から渡来されたとされる徐福さんも信奉されたと聞いております

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ かなり狭い道を抜けて行くと、蓬莱神社があります。笑う狛犬がいることで有名なようです。
神社の歴史、由来はその創建時期なども含めは定かではありませんが、明治期に垂仁天皇陵を守護する役割をはたしてきた「兵庫山神社」という神社（垂仁天皇陵に複数ある陪塚の一つにありました）を合祀したため、隣接する御陵は「安康天皇陵」ですが、現在は垂仁天皇陵を守る神様の役割も果たしていると言えます。現在の本殿はその合祀の際に建立されたもので、それほど古い歴史は持っていません。なお、祭神は須佐之男命（すさのおのみこと）とその妻である櫛稲田姫命（くしなだひめのみこと）となっています。
