出張で切符を購入することが多いのですが、指定席券や企画乗車券の買える緑の券売機があれば助かりますね。
There is a pink ticket vending machine.
I often buy tickets on business trips, but it would be helpful if I had a green ticket vending machine where I could buy reserved seat tickets and special tickets.

ANAパックやJALパックだと東京宿泊込みで2万円ほどなので、ビジネスマンに便利ですね。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 昔は中線にもホームがあって当駅折り返しの列車や定期の貨物列車停車もありました。それが何ともこざっぱりした駅になってしまいました。
傍目にはまるで新駅ですね。利用側からすればこっちのほうがいいのですが、昔を知る者としてはちょっと寂しいですね。
In the old days, there was a platform on the middle line, and there were also trains that turned around at this station and regular freight trains. It has become a neat station.
It's like a new station on the sidelines. This is better from the user's point of view, but it's a bit lonely for someone who knows the past.

ここのエレベーターは改札内と改札外の昇り降りに同一のエレベーターを利用している珍しいタイプである。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 広島空港から、三原・尾道方面に行く場合に、タクシーを使うにはこちらの駅を使う。
3500円 20分くらいで着く。
なお、駅前に待機しているタクシーはなかった。
If you are going from Hiroshima Airport to Mihara / Onomichi, use this station to take a taxi.
3500 yen, it will arrive in about 20 minutes.
There was no taxi waiting in front of the station.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ のどかな街の中にそびえる大きな箱は、JR西日本山陽本線の駅じゃった。歴史は古く1894年（明治27年）6月10日に山陽鉄道 の駅として開業されたそうな。バリアフリー化が進み各ホーム、南北連絡の自由通路の昇降にエレベータが使えるげな。便利になったもんじゃのう。南口の東側入口にはキヨスク（セブンイレブン）、西門には交番が入っており安心じゃ。
The big box in the idyllic town was a station on the JR Nishinihon Sanyo Main Line. The history is old, and it seems that it opened as a Sanyo Railway station on June 10, 1894 (Meiji 27). Barrier-free is progressing, and elevators can be used to move up and down the free passages connected to each home and north and south. Monjano has become convenient. There is a kiyosk (seven-eleven) at the east entrance of the south exit and a police box at the west gate.
