ヒ	ヒロ on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 福塩線の北側と南側の乗り換え駅です。南側はお客さんが多い市街地ですが、北側は一転して1両しかない、山の中をひたすら走る超ローカル線になります。直営駅かつ田舎の駅のため駅員さんの対応が大変親切で気持ちがよいです。 A transfer station on the north and south sides of the Fukushio Line. The south side is an urban area with many customers, but the north side turns into a super local line that runs only in the mountains. The station staff is very kind and pleasant because it is a directly managed station and a countryside station.

キ	キ on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 福山駅から福塩線に乗り換えて一本でこれます。逆にこれ以降がなかなか鬼門でここから三好行きが出ていますが一日に5本くらいじゃなかったかな？写真を撮影するにもなかなか良い駅ですし、有人駅で駅舎もなかなか味があって結構です。反対側に回ると駅前ロータリーありますがちょっと寂しいので表の方の駅舎の方がおすすめです。ここから徒歩圏内にお好み焼き屋＝府中焼きを食べさせてくれるお店が何軒もあります。府中駅に来られたのであれば是非とも府中焼きを食べてほしいところです。ちなみにこのあたりは「不織布」を作る工場が多いのが特徴です。 Transfer to the Fukuen Line from Fukuyama Station and you can get there with just one train.
