★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staffs make a mistake and book the wrong time for my train. when i kindly ask them to rebook another they rudely told me to get on the upcoming train an refuse to let me book for a sit. this saddens me as i don't encounter any such rudeness at any other stations for my whole 3mths journey in japan.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Although the Shinkansen passed this station, but the station and the town is very quiet place. I don’t know whether it is because I came during long holiday period or it is always as it is. As the station is very quiet place, so... please help yourself to check the train and bus schedule. Some local train and bus arrived every 1-2 hour. thus, make sure you see the right schedule and not miss your train/bus :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice and spacious little station. Try one of the Mihara specialty takomomiji ( たこもみじ, maple leaf shape cream cheese and octopus filling cake. With a strong taste of seafood, some may not like it. ) sold in the station! Bought a bag of eight and regreting not buying more.
