★ ★ ★ ★ ★ みなとトンネルの近くにある小さな広場のような公園。いくつか遊具が置いてあり、近くの方とおぼしきお子さん連れが時折遊んでいます。
ここには、遊具の他に第二次大戦末期、河口浅瀬で座礁した軍用船「宇品丸」の慰霊碑があります。戦中、市内を襲うアメリカ戦闘機に唯一応戦し、市内を守った船をたたえるものです。
A park like a small square near the Minato Tunnel. There are some playground equipment, and people nearby and children who seem to be playing occasionally play.
In addition to playground equipment, there is a memorial to the military ship "Ushinmaru" that ran ashore in the shallow waters of the river mouth at the end of World War II. It is the only one that responds to American fighters attacking the city during the war and praises the ships that protected the city.
