M	Maji San on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 古墳カード配布場所の中では結構難度の高い場所。三津屋古墳のカードを配布していますがそこからかなり遠いので。シンプルな建物の中では最近発掘された土器や埴輪がスチールの棚に雑然と大量に展示されています。結構大きく紋様の複雑な縄文土器や巨大で形の揃っている須恵器、派手で大きな埴輪などがあります。大量に。あまりに大量にあるのでだんだん目が慣れてしまいますが、どれも単品で博物展に出張出来るレベルなんですよ。この日も東京の国立に出張してるのが幾つかありました。数があまりにありすぎるので、スチールの棚にびっしり詰め込まれてぎゅうぎゅうに展示されているのがもったいないというか贅沢というか…。目が飽きるほど大きな土器や不思議な模様の埴輪が浴びるほど至近距離で見られます。ホントにスチールの棚にテグスで固定されてるだけなので…。渋川で発掘された鎧人の復元頭骨もあり、古墳時代の上野とその周辺、特に野尻湖周辺との文化経済の交流も推し量ることも出来ます。あと廊下に「浅間山と榛名山の噴火の痕跡」のパネルがさらっと展示されています。各地の遺跡はこの噴火のおかげで時代の特定がしやすいそうですが、群馬に人が住み始めてから6回くらい噴火してるので、噴火の灰で田畑が埋まるほどの被害を何回も超えて住み続けた先祖たちの苦難を思う感慨深いです。最後の江戸末期の大噴火は県の小学生なら必ず習う項目です。鎌原の神社発掘の話も聴きますからね…。 This is a very difficult place among the tumulus card distribution areas.
