★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 城跡は、沼田街道の八崎宿から少し入ったところにあります。いまは草に埋もれて、往時の面影はありません。
八崎宿は小さな宿場ですが、分郷八崎のバス停から左右を眺めると、いまも何となく風情が感じられます。幹線道路から外れているので、静かな清潔な佇まいの宿場町です(*^^*)
The ruins of the castle are located a short distance from Yazaki-juku on the Numata Highway. It's buried in the grass now, and it doesn't look like it used to be.
Yazaki-juku is a small post station, but when you look at the left and right from the bus stop in Wakarego Yazaki, you can still feel the atmosphere. It is a post town with a quiet and clean appearance because it is off the main road (* ^^ *)

北橘側の利根川沿いの城あとは、箱田城も含めて川を超えて防衛と監視をしやすい似た地形にあるのですね。
Seen from the riverside, there is a considerable difference in elevation, like Makabe Castle.
The castle along the Tone River on the Kitatachibana side, including Hakoda Castle, is in a similar terrain that is easy to defend and monitor across the river.
