★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 昭和3年に竣工した東京電力佐久発電所 調整池として作られたダムです。設置者は浅野セメント創業者の浅野総一郎氏です。ここから発電用の水が鉄管を伝わって121m下の発電所まで降りていきます。
It is a dam made as TEPCO Saku Power Station adjustment pond completed in 1964. The installer is Mr. Soichiro Asano, founder of Asano Cement. From here, water for power generation travels through the steel pipe and goes down to the power station 121 m below.

利根川上流の綾戸ダムから引水し、この池に溜めて、下流の佐久発電所に流して水力発電を行う。
赤城山の丘陵地帯にあり、榛名山も望める。
周囲には愛宕山公園や駄菓子屋・カフェもある癒しスポット。
A dam pond for TEPCO's power generation in the old Kitachibana village (Kitatachibana and locals are "Hokkitsu").
Water is drawn from the Ayado dam upstream of the Tone River, collected in this pond, and flowed downstream to the Saku Power Station for hydroelectric power generation.
Located in the hills of Mt. Akagi, you can also see Mount Haruna.
A healing spot with Ehimeyama Park and a candy shop / cafe nearby.
