H	Hisataka Goto on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 浄土真宗のお寺にしては珍しくお地蔵さまが(自分が見た限り)二体いらっしゃいました。一体は聖徳太子作と伝わる「とうがらし地蔵尊」?です。とうがらし地蔵自体は報土寺のみならず、色々な寺院でしばしば見られる(例えば小石川の福聚院、向丘の正行寺等々)もので、一般的にはとうがらしをお供えして咳病等の平癒を祈ります(当寺の地蔵尊にも袋に入れられた唐辛子がお供えされていました)。当地蔵もその信仰により建立されたと思われるので、来世の安穏のみならず現世利益をもお祈りする“ハイブリッド”(？)な真宗寺院だと感じました。もう一体は「和子地蔵尊」です。この尊像は、昭和15(1940)年、交通事故により不慮の死を遂げた稲葉和子さん(当時6歳)をはじめとして、多くの交通遭難者を弔うため翌年建立されたものです。台座に刻まれた文章からは強い悲しみが伝わってきて、深く合掌せずにはいられませんでした。更に名力士雷電為右衛門のお墓もあります。夫婦墓となっており、どんな家庭だったのだろうかと色々想像が膨らみました。また「三拾〆目」と銘刻された力石も奉納されています。梵鐘も大きかったです。 There were two Jizo statues (as far as I could see), which is unusual for a temple of the Jodo Shinshu sect. This statue was erected the following year to mourn many traffic victims, including Kazuko Inaba (6 years old at the time) who died unexpectedly in a traffic accident in 1940. The text engraved on the pedestal conveys a strong sadness, and I couldn't help but deeply join hands. There is also the tomb of the famous sumo wrestler Raiden Tameemon. It was a couple's grave, and I was wondering what kind of family it was. In addition, a power stone engraved with the inscription "Third-handed eyes" is also dedicated. The Bonsho was also big.
