★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 駐車場から山道を歩いて30分程で着きます。多少急な坂も有りますが木々の中を歩くので森林浴がてらの散歩にも良いです。展望台からは栗駒山や焼石連峰、大きく流れる北上川と平泉毛越寺の一帯も見渡せます。静かな時間を感じられると思います。
It takes about 30 minutes on foot from the parking lot on the mountain road. There are some steep slopes, but since you walk in the trees, it is also good for a walk in the forest. From the observatory, you can see Mt. Kurikoma, the Yakiishi mountain range, the large flowing Kitakami River, and the area of Hiraizumi Motsuji Temple. You can feel the quiet time.
