★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 人員の面から早朝や夜間に無人化せざるを得ないのは無理もないことかもしれませんが、少なくとも自動券売機や改札内のチャージ機は始発から最終便まで稼働ができないものかと思います。
できないにしても、それによって乗車券が買えなかったり、残高不足で出場処理ができなかった旅客向けへの案内を最低限するべきと感じました。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 単式と島式ホームの2面3線を持つ高山本線の駅。すぐ南に名鉄の新鵜沼駅がある。かつて両社を直通した列車が使用した連絡線は撤去されたが、いかにもそのまま舗装した感のある緩いカーブの道路が往時を偲ばせる。
A station on the Takayama Main Line that has two lines and three lines: single and island platforms. Just south of Meitetsu Shin-Kagenuma Station. The connection line used by the trains that passed directly through the two companies was removed, but the road with a slightly curved surface that seems to have been paved as it was is the time.

空中歩道を歩く距離がちょっと長い気もするが、
名古屋駅、岐阜駅に比べれば近い。
豊橋駅、金山駅、一宮駅と比較してはかわいそう。
美濃太田方面からの乗客で、ここで乗り換える人は結構多い。
名鉄側、JR側のどちらにもコンビニが無くて残念。
かつてはJR側にコンビニがあったけど、なくなってしまった。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 名鉄新鵜沼駅からJR鵜沼駅までの乗り換えは、健常な人で5分はみた方がいいと思います。駅前に関東煮、という雰囲気のいい看板の店がありましたが、残念ながら閉店したみたいで営業していませんでした。
The transfer from Meitetsu Shin-Unuma Station to JR Unuma Station should be a healthy person for 5 minutes. There was a shop with a nice sign called Kanto-ni, which was unfortunately closed, so it wasn't open.

上記の時間以外は窓口が空いていないため青春18きっぷ等は購入できません。
普通の他に【一部】のワイドビューひだが停車します。一部ですので停車しない列車もあるのでご注意ください。
新鵜沼駅との乗り換えは5分あればでき、雨に濡れる心配はありません。

昔、昔、犬山線経由の名鉄特急北アルプスが、ここから国鉄高山線経由で飛騨高山まで走っていました。可児で働いていた時によく鵜沼のヴィレヴァンや、隣の渋いおじちゃんが切り盛りするジョイバーガーへ足繁く遊びに行ったものです。
Transfer station with Meitetsu.
Once upon a time, the Meitetsu Limited Express Northern Alps via the Inuyama Line ran from here to Hida Takayama via the JNR Takayama Line. When I was working in Kani, I often went to Unuma's Villevan and Joy Burger, which was run by the astringent uncle next door.
