道	道原慎心 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 【純粋に温泉街として楽しむなら】 2022年の1月に二回目の来訪。温泉街として良い賑わい方をしていて、居心地が良い。賑わい過ぎず、寂れて過ぎずで、古き良き温泉街といった様子。山形県の温泉街として一番有名なのは銀山温泉ですが、山間の温泉街なので人を受入れキャパシティが少なく予約が取れない、日帰り入浴が出来ない、人が多すぎて観光も楽しめない場合がある。正直、町並みを眺める楽しみはあるが、純粋に温泉街として楽しめるかは疑問がある。（一部関係者が度々トラブルを起こす事があるとか・・・） 1月から2月にかけて雪回廊のライトアップが見れるので今回はそれに合せて来た感じ。のんびり温泉を楽しむならば銀山温泉よりも肘折温泉がおすすめです。【追伸】・道が狭いので横幅2m級の車で来る場合は要注意。メインストリート以外通れません。事前に旅館までのルートを確実に確認しましょう。現地で迷うとエラい事になります。（というかなりました。横幅198cmの四輪駆動車）・豪雪地帯で且つ急勾配のループ橋を通ります。冬に車で訪れる際は雪道の走行を習熟し、四輪駆動車で来ましょう。雪道の訓練をした私も少し怖い思いをしましたので・・・。 [If you enjoy it purely as a hot spring town] Second visit in January 2022.
