There is also an archeological park and no playground equipment, but I think it's a good place to have a rest.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 縄文の女神のモニュメントがある広場と、木の実の渋抜きを模した沢があります。
綺麗に整備されています。
縄文に想いを寄せるのには、このくらいのシンプルさが丁度いいのかも。
丁度ミソハギが盛りでした。
本物の女神像は山形県立博物館にあります。これだけ大きく、壊されずに見つかる土偶は本当に珍しい‼国宝です。
There is a plaza with the monument of the Jomon goddess and a swamp that mimics the astringency of nuts.
It is neatly maintained.
This simpleness is just right for thinking about Jomon.
Misohagi was just right.
The real statue is in the Yamagata Prefectural Museum. A clay figure that is so big and can be found unbroken It is a national treasure.

トラクターが1台停まっているだけでした。
トイレは簡易トイレが1つあるだけですのでご注意ください。
この時期なので仕方がないのかもしれませんが、女神像はマスクをされていましたので、きちんとしたものは見ることができませんでした。
それよりも、気になったのは女神が出土した場所は既に高速道路になっており、追突注意の看板の真下あたりというのが、えーーーー！？
という感じでした。
日本最大の土偶ですが、いくつかのパーツにわかれて発見されており、全長は45cmとのことです。
同行者が、大きいんだねー！とレプリカのサイズが本物と思ったようですので注意しましょう。
近くには湧き水などもありふらっと見る程度にはよいところかと思います。
女神が出土した場所は、追突注意の看板の下。

It may be unavoidable at this time, but the statue of the goddess was masked, so I couldn't see anything neat.
What I was more interested in was that the place where the goddess was excavated was already on the highway, and the area just below the rear-end collision caution sign was uhhh! ??
It was that kind of feeling.
It is the largest clay figurine in Japan, but it has been discovered by dividing it into several parts, and the total length is 45 cm.
The companion is big! Please note that the size of the replica seems to be genuine.
There is spring water nearby, so I think it's a good place to take a quick look.
The place where the goddess was excavated is under the rear-end collision caution sign.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 美しい公園です。うしろには清水が湧き出す、綺麗な場所です。見つけにくいからか、ほぼ誰もいないのも最高！
一発で見つけられたら、すごいです。目立つ看板があるのですが、素直になってそのとおり進むのが、吉。
「まさかここ曲がらないよね」
とか思う疑心暗鬼な人には、見つけられません。
It's a beautiful park. It is a beautiful place where fresh water springs up behind. It's great that almost no one is there, probably because it's hard to find!
It would be great if you could find it in one shot. There is a prominent signboard, but it is good to be honest and proceed as it is.
"No way, it doesn't turn here."
I can't find it for those who are skeptical.

巨大な八頭身美女のレプリカの「縄文の女神」に感動致しました。
近くには、遺跡から見下ろすように「すずがけ湧水」も有りゆっくり散策しました。
西ノ前遺跡は、平成4年6月の発掘調査で縄文時代中期（約4,500年前）の集落と判明しました。
遺跡からは竪穴式住居跡や土器・石器が見つかり特に国内最大（高45cm）の八頭身美人土偶(縄文の女神像)が発見され話題となりました。
In late June 2021, we will visit the Nishinomae site in Funagata Town, Mogami District, Yamagata Prefecture.
I was impressed by the "Jomon Goddess", a replica of a huge eight-headed beauty.
There is also a "Suzugake spring" nearby, which looks down from the ruins, so I took a leisurely stroll.
The Nishinomae site was found to be a settlement in the middle of the Jomon period (about 4,500 years ago) by an excavation survey in June 1992.
From the ruins, pit-house dwellings and earthenware and stone tools were found, and in particular, the largest (45 cm high) eight-headed beauty clay figurine (Jomon Goddess statue) was discovered and became a hot topic.

縄文の女神が発掘された場所です。実物は山形博物館にあり、拡大版のモニュメントが立てられています。実際発掘された場所は小道を隔てた国道13号バイパスの高架下です。この丘を下ると湧水公園があり散策路が設けてあります。縄文の世に思いをはせながら歩いてみるのは如何でしょうか。駐車場はモニュメントのある高台と、そこからバイパス沿いに下った場所にあります。簡易トイレが下の駐車場に設置されています。

This is the place where the Jomon Goddess was excavated. The real thing is in the Yamagata Museum, and an enlarged version of the monument is erected. The actual excavation site is under the elevated National Highway No. 13 Bypass across the path. If you go down this hill, you will find a spring park and a walking path. How about walking while thinking about the world of Jomon? The parking lot is located on a hill with a monument and down the bypass from there. A simple toilet is installed in the parking lot below.
