★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 妙徳山神積寺の石段をあがった場所にある石灯籠です。一見しても何の変哲もない灯籠なのですが、この地域において造立された最も古いもので江戸時代前期に助左衛門が両親の菩提を弔うために寄進したとされ、町の指定文化財に認定されているそうです。現地の説明板にも写真入りで載っていますが、竿部分に寄進年と寄進者である助左衛門の掘り込みが２基にあるとされていますが見方が悪かったのか1基分のみ確認できました。境内に入り素通りしてしまいそうになりますが、風化に耐えた助左衛門の想いを感じ取るのもいいと思います。
