見晴らしの良い山上にある町指定文化財に認定された直径20ｍに及ぶ円墳です。この付近では唯一の埴輪を持つ古墳として知られているらしく、墳丘上に自治会が復元した埴輪を並べて当時の古墳の外見を並べています。これにより山上へ行く途中から見ても、埴輪の輪郭であれが古墳だなというのが一目でわかります。造った当時の人たちも埴輪を見て、「あそこにあるな」と一目で認識できたのでは？と現地で想像してみました。現地の説明板を読む限りは石室を持たない土壙仕様と思われるので、穴が開いて部屋の様子が見えるなどはなく、そこは少し残念です。駐車場は同じ山上に墓地があり、その駐車場を利用することになります。そこに行くまでの道路が生活道路なのでかなり狭い箇所があります。マップナビの誘導で行くと何故この道を選んだ？という最徐行な道を何カ所か通りますので走行注意が必要です。よくよく地図上の道路を見ると舗装状態は悪いですが道幅はまだある農道らしき道もあるので車で行く方は航空地図にして事前確認してからでも良いかと思います。

As far as you read the local explanation board, it seems to be a pitted specification without a stone room, so there is no hole and you can see the room, which is a bit disappointing. The parking lot has a graveyard on the same mountain, and you will use that parking lot. There is a very narrow part because the road to get there is a living road. Why did you choose this way when you navigated by map navigation? You need to be careful when driving because you will pass several slowest roads. If you look at the roads on the map often, the pavement condition is bad, but there are still roads that seem to be agricultural roads, so those who drive by car should make an aerial map and check beforehand.
