★ ★ ★ ★ ★ たま～に、ランチを食べに立ち寄ります。ランチの海鮮丼は、1000円ですが、味は最高です。みそ汁もその日で変わるらしいけど、どんなみそ汁もいい味で、必ずおかわりしてま～す。ランチは、にぎりも有りますよ！こちらも1000円です。
Occasionally, I stop by for lunch. The seafood bowl for lunch is 1000 yen, but the taste is the best. It seems that miso soup will change from day to day, but any miso soup has a good taste and will definitely be refilled. There is also a nigiri for lunch! This is also 1000 yen.

ネタはマグロ、イカ、コハダ、エビ、タコ、イクラ、玉子焼き、桜でんぶなど+粉末のお吸い物が同封されて、お値段は1000円。
事前に電話で注文して直ぐ用意できると言われたのですが、約15分くらい待ったので時間に余裕を持って行った方がいいと思います。
I used it for takeout.
The material is tuna, squid, kohada, shrimp, octopus, salmon roe, tamagoyaki, cherry blossom dumplings + powdered soup, and the price is 1000 yen.
I was told by phone that I could place an order by phone in advance, but I would have to wait about 15 minutes, so I think it's better to have enough time.

カウンター12席とテーブル2席の一階。二階もあるようです。にぎり上ランチ1480円込を注文。10貫に海苔巻き+お椀+小鉢2皿+フルーツで お腹一杯。大将を先頭に家族経営の少し広めの雰囲気の良い寿司屋。また メニューも豊富。コロナ対策で 玄関開けて マスク着用。
駅近なので 駐車場なし
First visit to Japan for lunch
First floor with 12 counters and 2 tables. There seems to be a second floor as well. Ordered Nigiri Kami Lunch 1480 yen included. 10 pieces of seaweed roll + bowl + 2 small bowls + fruit fills the stomach. A family-run sushi restaurant with a good atmosphere, with the general as the head. There is also a rich menu. To prevent corona, open the front door and wear a mask.
No parking lot because it is near the station

板前さんの手際の良さに感動しつつ待っていると、写真のセットが。海鮮丼と香の物、小鉢(ひじきの煮物)、味噌汁(あら汁！)、デザートのオレンジ(食べやすくしてくれてる)でした。
ほんのり味付けしてあって、回転寿司では出てこないようなしっかりしたえびや、酢飯にかんぴょうとガリをたたいたものが敷いてあるなど、とても丁寧なお仕事で、美しいランチでした。ひじきにゴボウが入っているのは初めて食べましたが、とてもおいしかったので、ぜひ家でも作ってみたい！これで1000円は大満足でした！
お店も中は広々としており、とても居心地が良さそう。浦和にきたときはぜひリピしたいです❤
I ordered a seafood bowl for lunch.
When I was impressed by Mr. Itamae's dexterity, I found a set of photos. They were seafood bowl and pickles, small bowl (simmered hijiki seaweed), miso soup (arajiru!), And dessert orange (making it easier to eat).
It was a beautiful lunch with a very polite work, such as a slightly seasoned shrimp that does not appear in conveyor belt sushi, and vinegared rice with kanpyo and gari. I ate it for the first time with burdock in hijiki, but it was so delicious that I definitely want to make it at home! I was very satisfied with this for 1000 yen!
The shop is spacious and looks very comfortable. When I come to Urawa, I definitely want to repeat it ❤

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This review has been a long time coming, because not only did I wait several months before I had the opportunity to wait in line for Sushi Dai, I also waited several months before I had a chance to catch up with life to sit down and write this. Needless to say, the hype is real and Sushi Dai serves some of the best sushi a foreigner has tasted. The wait is real too - we waited starting at 3:00am and we were still 20th in line. I do not think we were served until 8:30am or so. Given the wait, most people think Sushi Dai isn't worth it - and that is probably true because sushi is excellent throughout Tokyo and many places do not have a wait. But if you're reading this review and understand what Sushi Dai is, then I'm assuming the wait isn't an issue. If that is the case, you won't be disappointed.
