★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 古墳時代後期の古墳です。古墳の隣に池があり大塚池と名が残っていることや所在する名字から大塚古墳と言われています。現在は墳丘10mの円墳に見えますが、実際にはもっと巨大だったそうです。この古墳の頂上付近から玄室が覗き見えますが、天井石も落ち込んでおり、大型古墳であったことを物語る玄室の大きさがわかります。墳室内に石棚があり、この棚に埋葬品を置いんだろうなとイメージできるほどきれいに残っており見ていて興奮しました。中に入れそうですが、事故の元なので推奨できません。石棚が良く見えるのは雑草が多い茂らない冬季のみとのことなので普段は目にする機会が少ないかもしれません。なお駐車場はありませんので、周辺で停車できる場所を探して立ち寄る必要があります。

At present, it looks like a mound with a mound of 10 meters, but it seems that it was actually huge. You can see the entrance room from the top of this burial mound, but the ceiling stones are also depressed, and you can see the size of the entrance room that tells that it was a large tumulus. There was a stone shelf inside the mound, and it was so beautiful that I could imagine that I had placed a burial item on this shelf. It seems to be put in, but it is not recommended because it is a source of accident. The stone shelves are visible only in the winter when there are not many weeds, so you may not normally see them. Since there is no parking lot, it is necessary to search for a place where you can stop and drop in.
