J	JESSE K on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 池袋のサンシャインに用があった帰り道、そのまま帰るのもアレだなと思い、大塚駅そばのラーメン屋に徒歩で向かうも、大行列。　午後2時をまわるというのに、なんということだ。。。絶望感に襲われた。夏の暑い日。なんとか水分を取ろうと、近くのカフェを回るも、コロナや東京オリンピック期間のせいか、テイクアウトのみか、早じまい。しかたなく、新大塚駅まで歩いていると、こちらを発見。中に入ると、15：00までだけど。といわれ、内心、早いよ店じまいが。。と思いつつも、灼熱地獄から抜け出したい一心で入店。マスターがこっちの方が涼しいよと、涼しい席を案内してくれた。昔ながらの、レトロな喫茶店です。煙草が嫌いな人は難しいかもしれませんが、ゆっくりできます。 On the way back from Ikebukuro's sunshine, I thought it would be a good idea to go home as it is, so near Otsuka station I walked to the ramen shop, but there was a long line. お	おくまさま on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 新大塚駅前の昔ながらの喫茶店。内装は木目調ですが、大きな窓から入る光で明るい雰囲気です。席はカウンターとテーブルがありますが、そこそこの人数は入りそうです。珈琲の味もマスターの人柄も店の雰囲気も素敵です。ただ、禁煙ではないのでご注意を。 An old-fashioned coffee shop in front of Shin-Otsuka station. The interior is wood-grained, but the light coming in through the large windows creates a bright atmosphere. There are counters and tables for seats, but it seems that a reasonable number of people will be able to enter. The taste of coffee, the personality of the master, and the atmosphere of the restaurant are wonderful. However, please note that smoking is not prohibited.
J	Joe Bardon on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Going here is like stepping inside a Murakami novel. The atmosphere is suitably retro and the drip coffee is uncompromising (none of the espresso stuff here). The owner gets the balance of caring for customers and letting you get on with your day just right. I would recommend stopping here for brunch. The mixed sandwich set is good!!
