Spring is a wonderful cherry blossom landmark. It is a place I want to visit once. It is a thousand cherry blossoms along the bank of Shiraishikawa from Ogawara to Shibata.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 私が見た時には葉桜でしたが、幼少の頃を思い返すときれいだったと思います。桜は遠くから見るものです。桜の近くに住めば、根っ子が家の下まで伸びて、シロアリの被害にあいます。消毒をしていなければ、下で花見をしようものなら、毛虫が上から落ちてきます。管理がすごく重要です。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 全長８ｋｍに及ぶ千本桜の東端は、ラーメン店付近堤防の入り口に植えられた桜です。最東端の１本はすでに咲かなくなっています。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 同じ日に近辺にある複数の桜の名所を回りましたが、ここの桜や風景が一番綺麗で、映像が心に残りました。それくらい、桜を見るのにいい場所でした。
